"When You Think You're Done..."

In Writer's Workshop, a good writer does many things.
One thing a good writer always does is
practice and continue to write.
We add to our pictures and stories to make them better!

We have an important phrase we use when we write...
"When you think you're done...you've only just begun!"

This is our writing process.
We created it to help us monitor our stages of writing.

First, we have to think of an idea to write about.

We write our name and date next.

Then, we draw our picture.

4th: Good writers label their pictures.

Then, we write our story.

Lastly, we go back and check to see if we need to add to our picture or words.
This is called adding the details!

Finally, if we are done...we start a new story.
