Clouds

In Science, we are discussing different weather
conditions and sky observations.

This week, we read all about clouds.
Some of the texts we enjoyed about clouds were:

Little Cloud by Eric Carle
and
It Looks Like Spilled Milk

After reading both stories, we created our own clouds.
We made them into different objects; then, we used different
adjectives to describe them.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

We celebrated the life of MLK, Jr. this last week.
We read Martin's Big Words and discussed
how Dr. King make contributions to our lives.
He was a leader, lover of all people, and special
individual who helped everyone.

We also made portraits of Dr. King and write about his
contributions.

We also read a few short poems and stories.
Check out the short story below and see how well
my readers put their visualizing skills to the work!
