In Reader's Workshop, we learned about schema.
Schema: all of the information in our brains
We learned how our schema grows and changes
through our 5 senses and experiences.
As a reader, we discussed how our schema helps us to
be a better reader.
We pull things from our schema before we read,
during our reading, and after we read to help
us understand.
One of our goals this year: We want to BUILD our schemas!
