Titus' Grandmother Came to See Us!

Dolphins are so COOL!

What a great afternoon we had with Titus' grandmother! She came all the way from Clearwater Marine Aquarium to share with us about her cool job! Ms. Marianne is a dolphin trainer. She trains the dolphins Winter and Hope from the movie- A Dolphin Tale. We loved her presentation and we learned so much about these amazing creatures! I want to be a dolphin trainer now!!!

Thank you Mr. Bill and Ms. Marianne for making our afternoon so special!

Check out more about Winter and Hope at:

It's All About Soil!

Hands-on Science is the best!
We discussed and explored soil this week.

We learned about different types of soil, how soil
helps our environment, and what all lives/depends on soil.

In our soil, we found a little friend.
Meet Mr. Worm!

Surveys and Graphs

In Math Workshop, it was all about gathering
information (data) by taking some surveys
and building graphs.

Our first survey was about who liked/does not like applesauce.
We used a t-chart to organize our data.

Then, we took our own surveys.
Check out the fun!

Do you like angry birds?
Yes or No?

On Valentine's Day, we sorted and graphed conversation hearts.
