Our Gingerbread Hunt

Run, run as fast as you can!
You can't catch me...
I'm the Gingerbread Man!

We had a blast going on our gingerbread hunt!
Arriving in our classroom, we found these crumbles, this note,
and a book about a Gingerbread Man who got loose in the school.

Off we went!

We had to look for clues all around the school...

Ms. C's class joined us to see if we could
find our cookies together.

Oh, it's a clue!!!

We finally found our cookies!
Those sneaky little things...they
were in our classroom all along.
Tricky Gingerbread Men!!!

Our cookies were yummy, yummy!

Then, we made our own gingerbread cookies.

Check out the Gingerbread Pirate!

Jingles brought us snowman stickers from the North Pole.

We caught Mr. Potato Head and Jingles hanging out...

The next day, we found Jingles and him playing in our

Holidays Around The World

Holidays Around The World
What a FUN time of the year!
We learned all about different holiday celebrations
from around the world.

Here are the countries we studied:
-Mexico
-Africa
-The Netherlands
-Israel
-Germany
-Brazil
-China
-America

Check out some of the facts and see
some of the fun activities we created during our adventure.

We made suitcases to carry around our souvenirs from
our trip.

In studying the The Netherlands, we took a look
at some real Dutch clogs.

We made a scrapbook of facts from our travels.

We made a clog just like the Dutch families.
We placed our clogs outside our classroom.

A special visitor, Sinterklass, left us a treat in our clogs,
just like he would in The Netherlands.

We even had to have a passport to travel
all over the world!
It was so fun! Look at all of our stamps!

Here is a close up of our scrapbooks:

Look at some of our crafts and activities we made
from around the world:

Mexico: poinsettia
