Camp Kindergarten Reminders

Camp Kindergarten

We will be having “Camp Kindergarten” the last few days of school. Please have your
child join us at “Camp Kindergarten” by dressing for the day and participating in the
activities we have in store. We will have “lots” of fun activities throughout the days
ahead. Your child will not want to miss it!!
We are also asking for the parents to write 1 letter to your child as if he/she were really
away at camp. Please clearly mark your letter with your child’s name and place them in
a baggie or envelope and send them to school on the first day of camp. It will truly
make your child’s day to receive a letter during “mail call” at camp. Thanks for your
help and support.

Tuesday, May 30th - Camp Read and Think-a-Lot
We will be reading and thinking all day with our friends! You can wear your pajamas.
Bring several favorite books from home. You can also bring a flashlight, pillow, and a
blanket. Bring puzzles from home so we can think a lot. This can include word puzzles,
Sudoku, or jigsaw type puzzles. Label everything!!

Wednesday, May 31st - Camp Write and Cheer-a-Lot
Students can wear clothing that have “words” on them. Bring your favorite writing
materials (gel pens, funny pens, markers, stationery, note pads, envelopes). You can
bring coloring books as well. Students can also bring one favorite board game from
home! Label all items!

Thursday, June 1st - Camp Find -a-Lot
We will go on a school scavenger hunt and work on our problem solving with hidden
picture activities. Your child will be able to use his/her hand held electronic games if
he/she chooses to bring one from home. Please be aware that we (Robertson or the
teachers) are not responsible for any damaged items. Please be mindful of the content
you are sending. We ask that you provide a game that is appropriate for school. If
anything is not appropriate, then we will ask the students to take the electronic games
to their backpacks. Label all items!

The Last Day of School is June 2nd - There will be many school-wide activities planned
that day.
