Our reading focus this week was all about alliterations!!!
This is a fancy word for tongue twisters!
We read some great ones like:
Amy ate apples.
Baby boy bounces the ball
Monkeys make messes!

In addition, our poem this week had an alliteration in it too.
It's was called Chickery, Chickery, Cranny, Crow!
What a fun alliteration to read!
We learned that alliterations are fun to read and
most authors write them for readers to enjoy.
On Wednesday, we created our own class book
of alliterations and shared them with our reading buddies.
