| We read Pumpkin, Pumpkin by Jeane Titherington. |

| Then, we retold the story and changed the ending. Instead of the character, Jamie, picking the pumpkin... we replaced his name with our name! The pumpkin grew, and grew, and grew, until KEIRA picked it! |

| In science, we began our KWL chart on pumpkins. What we know, what we want to know, and what we learned (KWL) We will complete this on Friday--listing the things we learned about pumpkins. |

| On Tuesday, we did a writing activity where we found a picture in a magazine that we had some type of connection to. |

| Then, we cut the picture out and pasted it in our journals. Our objective was to come up with a sentence that would describe what is happening in our magazine picture. |
