Star of the Week--Bryce!

We are pleased to announce our friend, Bryce, is

Capacity

 Math workshop was all about capacity this week!

We learned that capacity means: how much something can hold. 

We explored capacity using different size containers and materials. 

We practiced measuring and checking to see which containers hold more or less.

Encourage your child to use their knowledge of capacity at home while cleaning up toys 

(to see if all of their toys will fit into a toy box), in the kitchen while they help you
wash dishes (pouring water into cups or pans), or even working in the garden with soil and sand. 

They love showing off what they learned!!!
